XV-04

The XV-04 is a nanoFlash remote operating cable specifically designed for users of the Sony EX1 and EX3 cameras. It allows the operator of the Convergent Design Nano Flash HD Recorder to start/stop recording from the position of the camera's existing recording button. Rather than manually locate the recording button on the Flash Drive.

The 'Press' operating end of the XV-04 cable slides (and grips) over the existing 'record' button on PMW-EX camera's, the 10-Pin Hirose then plugs into the nanoFlash. With a power source attached to the Recorder, it can be operated without the camera operator have to touch the drive. The red LED displays that the Drive is in use and can be positioned near the camera view finder for ease of display.
