V-Lok Battery-System: overview

Launched in 2003, The V-Lok Battery-System is an advanced range of products designed for compatibility with the popular Sony V-Mount type fitting. This includes the widely used Sony® DSR range of broadcast cameras.

To date the V-Lok Battery-System includes a range of batteries, chargers, power supply units, camera fittings and radio mic holders. V-Lok is very much a ‘flagship’ brand for Hawk-Woods, with the range of products being held in high regard in the broadcast industry.

V-Lok Battery Range

We offer the widest range of V-Mount style batteries on the market. V-Lok batteries are available in capacities from 70 to 175Watt, they combine a wealth of features with stunning performance and usability. Offering total Sony® V-Mount compatibility, they are manufactured using the latest Lithium-Ion technology.

V-Lok chargers are suitable for charging all V-Lok (Li-Ion, Ni-Cad, Ni-Mh) batteries and have also been designed to accept Sony® V-Mount type batteries. Available in both 2 & 4 channel versions, the chargers uniquely offer in-car charging capabilities, plus a PSU function.

The extensive range of V-Lok Power Adaptors provides the operator with a range of power distribution options. Both D-Tap and Hirose plugs are available, with 30 & 50Watt output options. This allows the operator to power on-board equipment, such a top-light and radio mic, from the mounted camera battery.
