The industry standard for Industrial Portable Lighting is 30-volts.  Hawk-woods offer a battery for the different powering requirements; the most popular of these is the 7Ah due to its extremely lightweight, portable size and performance characteristics.

Short circuit protection is supplied in two forms; firstly the Low Voltage Cutout, which is extremely fast in operation in response to a short circuit and secondly a re-settable 15Amp circuit breaker, as a back-up to the Low Voltage Cutout.

If the fitted Low Voltage Cutout detects a short circuit the battery will be protected and indication is provided via the red LED flashing. The battery will remain protected until the short is removed.
