The PV5-13 Pro-Video has been designed for powering low wattage 12V camcorders like the Sony DSR-250P requiring around 10Watts of power, a run time of 6 hours would be available from this lightweight(2.4Kg) battery belt.

For Mini DV camcorders requiring 8.4Volts Hawk-woods can supply a DC-converter cord allowing the use of any battery belt for powering a Mini-DV unit, these are also around 10 watts.

This lightweight belt still retains the performance of it bigger brothers and is fitted with an overnight charger with a 12 hour built-in timer for ease of use.

A Universal mains input supplied as standard on all Hawk-Woods belts fitted with an integral-charger.

A 10AT self re-setting circuit breaker is fitted to protect against short circuits.  Additional protection in the form of a LVC (Low voltage cut-out) is available to order.
