These speed-charge belts are mainly used for 12V Video camera or for 12V lighting use.  If used specifically for 12V lighting then the SC7-12 would be the ideal belt offering around 100 mins of run time using a 50Watt lamp.

The 13.2V belt is perfect voltage for use with cameras, however both belts are fitted with 2 x XLR4 sockets and can therefore power both camera and lamp if required.

The built-in speed charger offers great usability and can recharge the battery belt within 6 hours if completed discharged.  This charging unit constantly maintains the cells in complete balanced state; therefore there is no need to discharge completely before charge as with some other manufac-turers products to overcome the memory affect which normally transpires as out-of-balance.

A 10AT self re-setting circuit breaker is fitted to protect against short circuits.  Additional protection in the form of a LVC (Low voltage cut-out) is available to order.
