The NPU is the Ultimate adaptor designed to be used with the battery standing on its end with the adaptor on top.

When used in this orientation the switches are on the top for easy access, powering "on" LED's are also fitted indicating the current status of the outputs. These outputs are fully regulated and a voltage selector switch is provided for the user to select directly either 9.6 or 12 volts depending on specific equipment being powered.
